Lakebase backup schedules can now be managed through a Beta API
Databricks added a Beta snapshot schedule API for Lakebase. It lets you read and set a root branch's automated snapshot cadences, including daily, weekly, or monthly schedules, and the retention period for each cadence.
Learners automating Lakebase operations should know backup schedules can now be managed by API, but the API is still Beta.
