Databricks Apps telemetry is generally available
Configuring telemetry for Databricks Apps is now generally available. It collects traces, logs, and metrics using the OpenTelemetry protocol and stores them in Unity Catalog tables. After telemetry is enabled, Databricks captures system logs and usage events automatically, and app developers can add custom instrumentation with an OpenTelemetry SDK.
Learners deploying Databricks Apps should know that telemetry is now a generally available way to collect app logs, metrics, and traces.
