ABAC column masks can use VARIANT functions for ARRAY and MAP columns
ABAC column masks can now use a single VARIANT function for ARRAY and MAP columns, in addition to STRUCT and other column types. This requires Databricks Runtime 19 or above, so readers using masks on ARRAY or MAP columns need to check their runtime before using it.
A learner studying Unity Catalog masking should know that one masking function can now cover more column types when the runtime supports it.
