Partner-powered AI features can no longer be disabled in settings UI
Databricks no longer lets account or workspace admins disable the partner-powered AI features setting in the settings UI, although they can still enable it there. Until November 1, 2026, admins can use the Settings API to enable or disable the setting; after that, the setting is removed and changes require contacting the Databricks account team.
Platform administrators need to change how they manage this AI setting before it is removed.
