External engines can query Unity Catalog views via the Unity REST API (GA)

External engines can now read Unity Catalog views defined over Delta Lake tables through the Unity REST API, and the capability is generally available. Teams that expose governed data to non-Databricks engines can include views in that access path instead of only tables.
