Genie One MCP beta endpoint is deprecated for a Unity Gateway service
The Genie One MCP server is now generally available as the Databricks-provided MCP Service system.ai.genie_one_mcp in Unity Gateway. The earlier Beta endpoint https://<workspace-hostname>/api/2.0/mcp/genie is deprecated and will be sunset on October 31, 2026. Move workloads to the MCP Service before that date.
Learners using MCP with Genie One need to use the Unity Gateway service instead of the older Beta endpoint.
