Genie One and Genie Code MCP connectors to be on by default for compliance security profile workspaces
From Databricks release notes (AWS)
Starting in December 2026, the Databricks-provided MCP connectors in Genie One and Genie Code (Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Atlassian, Slack, GitHub) will be enabled by default on workspaces with the compliance security profile. The connectors let those tools search third-party services and act on a user's behalf, with each connection governed through Unity Catalog and Unity Gateway.
