Dashboards add scoped filters, theme import, and chart controls
Databricks added several dashboard authoring and viewing changes: relationship-scoped filters are in Public Preview, themes can be exported and imported, and line, pivot table, and path map visualizations have new controls. Genie Code can import more Tableau calculations and now prefers governed metric views when building dashboards, while Ask Genie uses page, widget, or selected chart context on published dashboards.
Dashboard learners need to know which filtering, visualization, Genie Code, and Ask Genie behaviours are now available when building or using dashboards.
