Databricks announced general availability of AI Runtime, its managed serverless GPU compute for training and fine-tuning models next to Unity Catalog data. It runs your own code, containers or Ray workloads from notebooks, IDEs or a CLI, logs runs to MLflow, and reports GPU usage in billing system tables. Workspaces with the compliance security profile are expected to get it later, around mid November.

MLflow run Logs tab for AI Runtime gains search, filters and download
The Logs tab on the MLflow run page for AI Runtime runs can now be searched and filtered by node, level and time range, follows a running workload, and lets you download logs. For new runs it replaces the log files that used to sit on the Artifacts tab, which are deprecated; logs are kept for 60 days, and logs of existing runs stay on the Artifacts tab.
